Protection range of the Privacy Statement
The contents of this Privacy Statement includes the way T2009 deals with users’ identification data which it collects, as well as identification data obtained through its commercial partners. This Privacy Statement does not apply to organizations other than T2009, nor does it apply to staff not hired or managed by T2009.
Personal Data Collection
Users don’t need to input personal data, such as their names or e-mail addresses, when accessing T2009 related websites. T2009 will only get personal data from the users after clearly notifying them. T2009 will record the users’ accessing IP addresses and the browsing data of T2009 related websites. This data is only used for website flow analysis and investigation of user browsing, in order to improve the service quality of T2009 related websites. Also, this data will only be used for summary analysis, and not linked to any specific user. T2009 related websites and their cooperative partners may request users for their personal data when the users request to apply for website membership, news subscription, e-mail usage or any other service or related activity. Network security and protection disclosure
T2009 has set up a firewall on its servers to prevent others from illegally hacking, destroying and stealing data from our websites. We have installed antivirus software and we scan for virus regularly in order to provide our users with a safe web-browsing environment. We perform hacking drills on the system irregularly in order to strengthen our response procedures and provide suitable security defense. We also make backups of all the data to alternative servers daily. We receive safety-maintenance e-mails from related operating system and application companies and update our programs with security updates regularly.
